We already got Beastly and Red Riding Hood and we heard rumors about Hansel and Gretel and Jack the Giant Killer. Event the previous fairy-tale based on movies not successful and have poor quality the filmmaker still continue this trend and Snow White and the Huntsman is the prove.

It only takes a few minutes after the movie begins to enter the main story of Snow White and the Huntsman. The massacre of the royal family at the beginning of the story leaves Snow White as the only living witness and she kept in the castle tower. Snow White and the Huntsman still use Queen Ravenna, Snow White's stepmother, as the brains behind the heinous acts. Years of the kingdom under the leadership of Ravenna, the people living in misery while she just enjoy the life. One scene that shows how the figure of Ravenna is a cruel and have no conscience is when she let people drink milk used for her bath that pouring through the sewer.
Yes, I like the modification idea of Snow White and the Huntsman; it’s mixed up the story of classic Snow White with others elements. There is an adventure against the darkness powers like The Lord of the Rings complete with her Dwarf, a little romance like Twilight, magical world like Alice in Wonderland and the struggle of the female figure like Joan of Arc. But the duration of Snow White and the Huntsman for 2 hours feels too long. By the mid-narrative of Snow White and the Huntsman, Sanders seems to focus with the visual parade which recognized for the beauty. The beautiful visual parades emerge at the moment when Snow White enters a magical fairy village; the village is beautiful and filled with wonderful flora and fauna. If you want to compare Snow White and the Huntsman with another movies adapt from a fairy tale, maybe Snow White and the Huntsman is the best so far. But for an adventure fantasy movie, it is certainly that Snow White and the Huntsman is not good enough. There are still many major lack in Snow White and the Huntsman and there including the boring plot and bad acting of Kristen Stewart.
