The Avengers

What movies are out – The first ranking of US Box Office movies chart this weekend is occupied by The Avengers (2012). This is the first week of The Avengers worldwide theatrical runs, yet it reaches the first rank surpass Think Like a Man (2012) and The Hunger Games (2012) even both of them have run more than three weeks. Even more surprising is that The Avengers success to get the fourth position in all time worldwide box office movies chart for this time check, only losing to Avatar (2009); Titanic (1997) and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 (2011). 

The Avengers is a movie that made with pure entertainment purposes only. Hollywood knows that majority of the world’s moviegoers want movies with simple storytelling quality yet packaging super fantastic for movies released in summer. The Avengers movie put together the Marvel Comics super heroes such as Iron Man, Hulk, Captain America and Thor, also the Marvels heroes like Black Widow and Hawkeye. The Avengers obviously is one of the summer movies which certainly have entertainment value that cannot doubt. However, under the direction of Joss Whedon and Zak Penn as the script writer The Avengers managed to perform more than just a summer movie. The Avengers is fantastic in appearance but still down to earth with humanist and attractive story.

The story of The Avengers is combination between Captain America, Iron Man, Hulk and Thor, the story is surprise me. I have watched the fourth movie about the super heroes, but I just know in this movie that all of them are connected. In this The Avengers, Loki, the brother of Thor, is the main antagonist character which become the main threat to human civilization because his ambition to become a king. The story is about Tesseract, you should remember that Tesseract is a cube-shaped foreign unlimited power source. The Avengers connected the story of Thor and Captain America at the first, this Tesseract is King Laufey power source when attack earth, then this Tesseract is Hydra power source from Captain America.

The next story of The Avengers is connecting the Captain America and Hulk, the serum that use to changes Steve Rogers into Captain America is developed with gamma radiation from the Tesseract make Hulk. The last is connection in The Avengers is between Captain America and Iron Man, Tony Stark father is involved in Steve Rogers experiment and continued the research on Tesseract and make something like that, the one that Tony Stark use in his chest. The Avengers is awesome in story, movie effect and dialogue. You have to watch it!
