Although use the same figure, this Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter of Timur Bekmambetov did not move from a biography of the 16th president of the United States. Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter is a fiction, not entirely fiction Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter is more accurately described as a fictional film that takes the historical background. There are several events and figures that exist in real life.

Timur Bekmambetov takes this latest film of the basic fiction novel with the same title, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, written by Seth Grahame-Smith who also lined up as the film script writer. In the imagination of Grahame-Smith, The Honest Abe in Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter was not only the president that vocal in calling for the abolition of slavery, but he also has a dark secret, a dark secret that known only by certain people close to him and his enemies. The dark secret of Lincoln is the heart of the story of Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, a summer action movie.

Abraham Lincoln from Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter is an important person for United State America; he was the most respected president in the country. America is a liberal country that upholds the principle of "freedom of speech and expression", so a fictional literary that using figures and important events in the history of nations able to circulate freely in the United States. Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter did not have a provocative story. In fact, it can be said very simple and tend to be flat.  Of course as long as you watch it with an open mind.

The story of Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter is about Lincoln that intends to claim revenge on Jack Barts, a vampire who caused her mother died. On his way to kill Jack Barts, he met with Henry Sturgess who save the life of Lincoln after brutally attacked by a Jack Barts, who is a vampire. Knowing Lincoln plans to kill Jack Barts, Henry offered to help him to kill Jack Barts. The assistance provided by Henry is in the form of training how to destroy vampires not to kill, because they already dead. Henry also asked Lincoln to change his plan from revenge to satisfying his emotion into a war in order of humanity. The target that Lincoln must destroyed is widespread, Lincoln not only have to destroy Barts but also many other vampires and in the top is including Adam, the leader of the vampires.

Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter has early minutes that are boring; Bekmambetov began issuing its flagship stance which he had previously trained in Wanted. Bekmambetov serve stylish visuals that no longer an innovation, especially we have just treated to a similar dish in Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows. Action scenes packed in slow-motion with a dynamic camera movement, editing plus a sweet fast and cinematography. The film starts quite interesting to follow when entering Act III, especially the climax in the middle of the fast moving train. Overall Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter has no energy though it has been presented spurting blood and body parts strewn everywhere. Less appropriate action scenes, the script is bad, and the CGI was too rough, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter is not a satisfying summer movie.
